This work demonstrates beauty that is often unrecognized. Referencing a personal nostalgia for summers in Maine, I pay homage to the stingy, do-it-yourself home improver. Their methods may not be clean or standard, though the final product holds a special charm. Illustrated is the impossibility of undoing time; the innumerable factors that alter and decay structures, and the futile attempts to repair them.
