Last year I took a 3D design workshop at the Glassell School of Art from a fantastic teacher, artist, and friend, Nathan Dube. After the course, I was able to apply some of my (limited) 3D rendering skills to create forms I could not have done by hand. The piece below, which utilizes these forms is included in the current exhibition, Course of Action: 50 Years of Jewelry and Enamel at the Glassell School of Art. The opening is Friday, May 29, from 5:30-8:00pm at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft.
