I attempt to blur the line between beauty which is inherent and inherited. I am drawn to the innate aesthetic value of certain natural objects, and arrange these natural items with man-made motifs, creating the ultimate covetable object.
Sparkling gems, coral, and bright agates are incorporated with Baroque patterns, quilted forms and neon acrylic, creating alluring juxtapositions between the natural and artificial.
